Second choice

The terms and conditions of sale regarding second choice vary from our general terms and conditions of sale. The differences are listed below as follows:

 

Collection of goods on site

The customer is responsible for organizing the pick up of his order. The pick up has to be scheduled with us and be confirmed at least two days in advance. On site, only our personnel loads the panels, using solely our equipment. Road securing is the responsibility of the transporter. This is as defined in the incoterm EXW. A vehicle designated for loading may only proceed to be loaded if the transporter is equipped with the necessary safety measures: helmet, safety shoes and a reflecting vest. They are not to wander around the premises unsupervised. Due to security reasons, we will save the time of arrival and departure and the license plate of the transporter. This information won't be relied to third parties, only to the police or similar groups with justified interests.

Warranties

Goods sold under the label of second choice are sold without any kind of warranty and are excluded from any form of claims. Certifications of the product don’t apply for panels sold as second choice. Guarantee doesn’t apply on goods that are purchased as 2nd choice
On collection, it is the responsibility of the person collecting the goods to check if they are correct and complete. Differences in quantity or major material deviations can only be determined, documented and rectified on site.

Payment

Payment can be made either on site by bank card or in advance by bank transfer. No discount can be deducted from an invoice for Second Choice goods. In all cases, Second Choice panels are subject to the 19% VAT rate applicable in Germany.

Availability

When we receive an enquiry, we check the stock of the goods and make an offer based on this snapshot. Availability is not guaranteed when making an offer. We aren’t responsible for keeping specific products in stock and the availability concerning 2nd choice.

Reservations

A reservation of the material is made from the moment the order is accepted. The goods will be reserved for a period of 14 days. If no traceable payment is made within this period, we reserve the right to cancel the order and the reservation. If we are unable to establish payment after 7 days, we will send you a reminder. If, after receiving the order, we find that availability has changed since the offer, we will notify you immediately to  discuss alternatives

 

Cuts

We have the necessary tools to cut panels to your preferred length, but only against payment in advance. The material to be cut will be reserved as usual from the time the order is placed and will be cut as soon as we can confirm payment. The time for cutting the panels depends on the volume of work and cannot be fixed in advance. As soon as the goods are ready for collection, we will contact you to schedule a collection.
